Once a Booking is recorded in the back-office it can be in either a Confirmed, Unconfirmed, Cancelled, Pending Inquiry, Rejected, Cart Abandoned. This states helps you get the overview of any customer booking quickly.
Different Booking Status:
- Confirmed
- Unconfirmed
- Cancelled
- Pending Inquiry
- Pending Confirmation
- Rejected
- Cart Abandoned
Confirmed:
This states implies that the Booking is confirmed. The booking is confirmed if the mimium requirements such as participants, payments are received. You can resend the booking confirmation multiple times. Once the booking is confirmed you can only cancel the booking.
Unconfirmed:
This implies that the booking is recorded but not confirmed. This might be an inquiry sent to you via website and pending for your approval. This booking can further be confirmed or ignored.
Cancelled:
This implies that the booking is cancelled. There are no further transition for this type of bookings.
Please note: A cancelled booking can never be Deleted or Removed from your dashboard, this is implemented for security purposes.
Pending Inquiry:
This implies that the Booking is under pending inquiry and needs your approval. This happens if the booking did not have the minimum passengers required for the departure to operate, trip's booking mode, etc. This can further be Rejected or Confirmed.
Pending Confirmation:
This
implies that the Booking is under pending confirmation and needs your
approval. This can further be
Rejected or
Confirmed.
Rejected:
This implies that the inquiry received earlier has been rejected. There are no further transition for this type of bookings.
Cart Abandoned:
This implies that the visitor has not completed the entire booking process. A visitor on a web page who leaves that page before completing the desired action. The visitor might have left after entering the details. This booking can further be Confirmed.
