How to view/edit bookings

The Bookings section is your central hub for managing all reservations, whether they were made online by a customer or offline by your team. This guide will show you how to access, view, and edit booking details.

Accessing the Bookings List

  1. From the main navigation menu in your Vacation Labs dashboard, select the BOOKINGS tab.

  2. This will open a comprehensive list of all bookings received, sorted with the most recent at the top.

Understanding the Bookings List

Each row in the list represents a single booking and contains key information:

  • Booking ID & Timestamp: A unique reference number and the date/time the booking was created. Use this for accounting and payment reconciliation.

  • Booking Details: Includes the Trip NameDurationStart Date, and a summary of the Payment Status (e.g., Balance payment).

  • Customer Information: Displays the Customer's NameEmail Address, and Phone Number for easy contact.

  • Booking Status: The current state of the booking (e.g., Confirmed, Pending, Incomplete, Cancelled). Monitor this column to identify bookings requiring follow-up action.

  1. Navigate to the main Bookings list page.

  2. Locate the booking you wish to manage from the list.

  3. Click directly on the booking's row in the list. The entire row is clickable and serves as the link to view more details.

This detail page contains all pertinent information, including customer details, trip itinerary, cost breakdown, and payment history. From here, you can edit dates, adjust pricing, and update payment information.

  • Edit Booking Information: Update trip dates, participant details, or other booking parameters.
