How to sync your tours with Viator ?
Once you have configured your Viator account and the API connection has been activated , you will be able to connect the availability of your trips on Vacation Labs Admin Panel with your products on your Viator account.
Before starting please note you will need to add location to the trips or else you won't be able to share them with Viator, Please CLICK HERE to get detailed instructions on how to add location to a trip
Follow the steps below to begin the mapping process:
1. Go to Distribution-> Marketplaces and Click on Details
2. You will now see a Viator Dashboard. Click on Share More Tours.
3. Search and Click on the tour you wish to share with Viator. You can add more tours by repeating this step. Make sure that Location has been added in each product you plan to connect with Viator. It is a mandatory field to begin mapping. If Location is missing for any tour as message: Location Missing will be visible within the search results itself.
4. Click on Update Shared Tours.
5. You will now be able to see the tours that are being shared on Viator.
Note: Though Viator API checks for latest changes every hour they often take upto 24 hours to update new products shared for connection. After sharing the products on Vacation Labs admin panel, go to your Viator account and under each product you will find the option for Product Connection which will allow you to map your products individually.
